Last week Action Aid for Animals donated a mass of food and accessories to two wonderful local rescues RACR and Babbington both based in Nottingham who help so many different animals both large and small in there local area.
It is tough times for charities and non profit groups alike and we firmly believe it is at times like this that we all need to pull together, this is why we donated some of our food we have collected from our supporters and that was donated to our charity by the wonderful company Zooplus. We in turn thought it was only right that we share some of our good fortune to smaller struggling rescues who right now need a little helping hand.
RACR- Incredible small rescue that takes in all manner of furballs, cats, dogs, gerbils, ferrets you name it and they are there working tirelessly to help as many animals in the local area as they can.
As you can see the cat tree went down very well with the rescued residents even the dogs approved!

Babbington Rescue based in Nottingham, a wonderful rescue that helps so many Dogs within the local area. Giving them safe sanctuary, vet care and looks after them until they are found loving homes.
Our lovely volunteer Sharon took on the job of filling her car and delivering the much needed food to Babbington and whilst she was there got to meet the latest intake. A poor old girl 12 years of age whose elderly owner had just died. She was very scared and did not know what was happening, but luckily she has Babbington who will make sure in her twilight years she will receive all the care and love she needs.
Please remember to support your local charities and rescues, it really is tough going at the moment for all of us. If you are thinking of adopting, look no further than your local rescue center. So many wonderful dogs, cats, gerbils etc looking for forever homes.
Huge thank you to AAFA supporters/donators and to Zooplus for supporting the work that we do. Without you guys enabling us to be there for the animals in need, we simply could not save/rescue and help as many as we do.
