When we heard that over 200 Swans in Draz, Croatia have been deliberately starved by the local City Hall despite them having money in the budget set aside for when the colony can not source food due to freezing temperatures, our charity stepped in immediately and within 48 hours the swans now have a ton of corn, vegetables, volunteers to feed them each day for the next 10 days. In this time we hope to convince the powers that be to do the right thing, to stand by there legal obligation to help the protected wildlife.

As well as ensuring the Swans are fed we also created an online petition focused on forcing the City Hall and its mayor to basically do there job!
There is darker news, not only were these swans deliberately starved but there is a possibility that they are also being deliberately poisoned. Our charity have begun an investigation into both the starvation of these protected birds but also requested autopsies of the dead birds and the results will be published publicly. If need be, legal proceedings will follow and the culprits, be them from higher government or local people we hope will be prosecuted and brought to justice.
