Imprisoned for 3 years living in her own feces - Rescued - brought to the UK to what should have been a wonderful future, mercilessly killed by Wherry Veterinary Group to teach a rescuer/adopter a lesson!!!

This is Linda, a sweet wonderful little dog who had endured 3 years of hell, imprisoned in an apartment in Romania with an abusive owner. She could not run, she could not escape her living hell because her spine had been broken 3 years previously.

A wonderful rescue called Pet Hope came to her aid and rescued her with the collaboration of a wonderful UK based non profit org called Angel Watch Rescue they did all they possibly could to help this wonderful young dog.

Nothing was too much for this sweet girl, she had scans, surgery, you name it this group gave it to her. Fundraising hard to get the money to give this little dog the future that until now she had deliberately been deprived of. She, for the first time in 3 years was able to run around and play with her new dog friends by way of her super dog cart the group paid for her to have.

The one thing this little dog did not have was a forever home, but one day a wonderful woman from the UK saw Linda's plight and offered her a forever home. A dog who once had nothing, only knew abuse and cruelty now had a future.   Everything was planned, Linda made ready for travel and a few days ago she was put on a transport and brought to the UK ready to embrace the new life that lay ahead of her, at least that would have been the case if Wherry Veterinary group had not got their hands on her

By DEFRA law a rescue dog MUST stay at the destination address for 48 hours and be checked by DEFRA vets. This was done, so 2 days had past since Linda entered the UK. Being a responsible owner, Lindas new mum took her to the above vets immediately for a check up and also to get some pain relief and antibiotics for the infected sinuses that Linda had gained whilst on the transport travelling for 2 days..
This is quite common in disabled dogs and the condition most certainly can be treated easily enough as it has been treated many times before on various occasions with other dogs.  Infected Sinuses is NOT a life threatening condition in cases like Linda's.. Scott Parlett of Wherry Veterinary group told Linda's owner he was going to take her in the back of the clinic and would be treating her, for Linda's new mum to come back later for her. Of course Linda's mum wanted the best for her new dog and so of course left Linda with Scott Parlett and would come back later to collect her and take her home, this seemed perfectly fine as Linda's mum had another dog Arthur who needed to see the vets in anycase so made perfect sense.

However Dr Parlett had another reason for wanting to take Linda from her mum and keep her at the clinic. Linda's mum had not returned home for long before receiving a call from Scott Parlett telling her he was going to euthanise Linda.
Linda's mum DID NOT give her permission and though Dr Parlett stated he was going to get the RSPCA involved neither the RSPCA, nor Linda's Mum nor the rescue who saved Linda gave their permission for this to be done.
Lindas mum went straight back to the clinic with her dog Arthur to speak to the vet and get Linda back, to try and talk sense into this vet who was determined it seemed to end Lindas life. Now this is the sneaky vile underhanded thing that this veterinary clinic did. When Linda's mum waited in the reception with Arthur her other dog and ready to collect Linda, Dr Parlett realising that she would take Linda, as legally she is entitled to, he stopped what he was doing and went specifically to the back of the clinic and killed Linda...Knowing that her mum was outside to take her to safety away from this veterinary clinic.  .
Yes , SCOTT PARLETT OF WHERRY VETS DETERMINED TO KILL THIS POOR DOG, STOPPED WHAT HE WAS DOING TO ENSURE THAT HE WOULD INJECT LINDA AND KILL HER BEFORE HER LOVING HUMAN MOTHER HAD THE CHANCE AS WAS HER LEGAL RIGHT TO TAKE THAT DOG HOME AND SEEK AN ALTERNATIVE VETS ADVISE AND TREATMENT.
What this vet did was despicable, immoral and utterly hideous. As well as Saving hope rescue, Action Aid for Animals called the veterinary group telling them to NOT euthanise Linda. To explain why she had pressure sores.
Wherry Veterinary group were in a position of trust by Lindas mum, they were meant to help this dog, be part of the healing process, to welcome her to a new wonderful life. Instead their vet Dr Peter Scotts biased and unethical actions deliberately snatched away the only chance that sweet dog would ever have.   Action Aid for Animals, Saving Hope rescue and many others call upon the Royal Veterinary College to investigate this excuse of a vet. To make him liable single handedly for destroying what would have been the only happiness and love that dog would have received in her short life.
By Dr Parlett actions it is clear he believes animals with disabilities or from foreign shores should be euthanised, that he deems them not to have a quality of life. Thousands of disabled dogs across the world and their owners most certainly will stand testimony that this is not the case.
Linda deserves justice, her family deserve justice. The British Veterinary Association nor the public must allow this type of unethical and immoral treatment to happen to any animal.   It is too late for Linda, Dr Scott Parlett  made sure of that, but it is not too late to get justice for this sweet dog who had the right to life, had the right to a future, had the right to be given the chance of a wonderful life that Scott Parlett cruelly took from her.
