Thanks to AAFA supporters and donators on 22nd August Belimanister Shelter in Croatia over 100 rescued dogs were all deflead and dewormed. To many in the UK fleas, ticks and worms are easily treated and simply an irritant, however in Croatia the rescue dogs and impoverished shelters can not afford to buy such life saving treatments. Puppies, older dogs die horrifically from the disease that fleas, ticks and internal worms transmit to them. These treatments really do save lives.

It was absolute mayhem with volunteers and their children, staff members all working together to wait in line with every single pup and dog to be administered treatment by Dr M and his team. Amazing work by such dedicated and wonderful people.
