Ivana a wonderful volunteer at Belimanister watching over Little Rachel, everyone was concerned she wouldn't make it through the night let alone survive. But we had to give her that chance.

This is Little Rachel, a young Dauchund Cross when rescued just over a week ago was painfully thin, full of worms, dehydrated and with her tow disformed front legs had cruelly been neglected and deprived of good food and vitamins since she was born.

When Rachel was rescued it was not only the AAFA team that were concerned she would not even make it through the night let alone survive. However she did not appear to be in pain, and she tried so hard to wag that little tail of hers and weakly lift her head to get fuss from anyone who was near. She clearly wanted to live but her little body had been so ravaged by internal parasites and lack of food, no one knew if we could help her but if little Rachel was willing to fight for life we had to do whatever it took to give her that chance.

The AAFA team on route to Croatia had already bought some life saving medicine and in the ambulance was everything this little girl needed to survive and with the wonderful care of the Belimanister staff and volunteers ready to do whatever they could for her all we could do was provide her with whatever she needed and pray, the rest.....That was up to Rachel.

She was fostered and cared for by the lovely Ivana M who was her guardian angel, caring for her, feeding her,taking Rachel to the vets every day for her daily IV and vitamin treatment. AAFA sent over money for fresh meat to be bought and cooked and anything else she needed. She had severe diarrhea and vomiting, was having problems regulating her own body temperature. There really was no change no matter what anyone did and we really believed that we were going to loose her. Finally after a few nail biting days she turned a corner and Ivana gave us the news we had all been waiting for. She was keeping food down and her tummy problems had settled.

This was two days ago, now though still weak she is growing stronger day by day, gaining weight and is showing her rather cheeky side. Though she has a long way to go, now she is receiving the best care, good food, vets on call for her she will make it. She is only a pup so her legs will start to firm properly and this wonderful brave little girl will have a future.

When she is fully recovered and made ready for travel she even has a wonderful and loving forever home to come to in the UK.

Rachel today at her fosters making new friends with the rescued deer that also found safe haven there.

When we were over in Croatia helping the death row dogs our vet Miro got a call from the police. A family pet whilst out on a walk had been shot 3 times with a hand gun. Literally she had been used as target practice.

In Croatia it is not uncommon for family pets to be just let outside to do their business, very much how it use to be in the UK many years ago.

Whilst she was out some vile person shot her and left her for dead. Many veterinarians would have euthanised her as she had so much internal damage but Miro battled on and as you can see here saved this wonderful dogs life.

In Croatia this is not uncommon, and the police are only investigating the incident as the gun that was used was not a hunters rifle but a hand gun. If it had been a hunters gun the police would not be at all interested, a dog is a dog to them.

This is the type of mentality we are up against in Croatia, one that we are desperate to change.

This lovely dog will live a full and happy life thanks to the wonderful surgical skills of Miro, and her family will no longer allowing her to wander on her own. The gunmen are still at large and we suspect will not ever be found.

This is the way in Croatia, this to the police, to the gunmen was just a dog... With so many strays in Croatia the abusers have there pick of easy victims and with the authorities not caring about the animals the suffering will continue.

Last week during our visit to Croatia to oversee various projects we were honoured to be allowed into the surgery room to see our vets in Belimanister tackling the stray problem at the source. The only effective long term solution to decreasing the stray numbers... Sterilisation, Sterilisation, Sterilisation

Miro and Katarina are incredibly skillful, the preparation itself takes far longer than the actual operation. They also stitch inside as well as outside to ensure less infection and for better binding of tissue during the healing process.

In Croatia the biggest problem we have is the law. Legally we can not do what we did in Romania, Catch , Neuter and Release because in this country if you pick up a dog or cat from the streets and then put it back you will be arrested for abandonment!

So last week we met with the director of Belimanister and together entered a collaboration to sterilise owned pets during the winter period before th puppy boom that will hit us next spring. A meeting with the mayor of Belimanister is to be arranged so this will be a join project funded partly by City Hall and partly by Action Aid for Animals.

Many believe that it is the strays on the streets that is the main problem for the constant increase in unwanted dogs. This is not the case, if AAFA had a magic wand and could make vanish all the strays on the streets all in one go, in a few months the hedges, parks and highways will be full of unwanted litters of pups and kittens. This is because of the lack of understanding and money to sterilise owned pets.

So this winter AAFA will be launching the sterilisation voucher project to fund the sterilisations that are desperately needed. We will also be over in Croatia collecting the animals , taking them to our guys in Belimanister and then dropping them back home. This is to ensure those that do agree to sterilisation wont forget to bring the dogs/cats to the vets. We will make sure they get there!!

Little Reynard was saved after being found by one of our rescuers in the Balkans. When Dejan found this poor little dog he was sat in a petrol station forecourt, attracted to the humans there in hopes they would help him. Needless to say hundreds passed him by and left him there to rot with his ear hanging from his head and horrific wounds around his face where dog fighters had unleashed their fighting dogs on him as is common for them to do on the strays.

Dejan heard about this little dog and rushed straight away to the station, found him and took him immediately to the vets.

His ear had to be removed and lots of surgical work had to be done around his face area to close the gaping and festering wounds.

This poor little boy has only ever known abuse, neglect and hardship, and his life would have most certainly ended with him sitting alone on a cold petrol station forecourt dripping with blood , so poorly and alone.

Now he is safe and snug in the UK, in foster in Staffordshire. And despite his horrific past this little fella wants nothing more than love, cuddles and as much fuss as he can get.

He will be listed for adoption shortly, a wonderful little guy who has finally found the love and security all dogs deserve.

None of this would have been possible if it was not for donators, supporters and wonderful people willing to give what they could be it time, money or simply sharing his post on Facebook when help was needed for him.

CHANGES BEING IMPLEMENTED FOR THE DOGS ON DEATH ROW

Recently many changes have been implemented in collaboration with the Staff and volunteers at Belimanister

Death row is where no dog should find themselves but, it is what it is and we can only do what we can to make conditions etc better for them whilst we desperately try to find them homes before their time is up.

CONDITIONS NOW THE BEST THEY CAN BE AT THIS TIME
Miroslav Prebeg the wonderful vet at Belimanister has come down hard on shelter workers who previously did not do things to standard, now the kennels are clean , dishes/bowls sterilised until they gleam and filled food and water.

EXTRA STAFF AND PEOPLE TO HELP IN THE SHELTER
Miro has gained permission from the director to hire another technician to ensure there is an extra person on hand to ensure the basics (as mentioned above) are done.

Taking on Community Service Peeps - Miro is contacting Community service offices who will be sending people who have recieved community service orders for silly things such as speeding etc. All will be vetted and ensured are animals lovers but what this means is Melissa and Miro, all the guys at Belimanister will have extra bodies to help with the dogs. We hope also this will lead to these guys maybe volunteering after there community service is up..(fingers crossed) We hope that this will initiate soon but Miro still in talks with the offices.

Melisa Benak attends the shelter 6 days a week 8am -2pm every single week on behalf of AAFA. During the floods last year Melissa was one of the main people overseeing and managing the hundreds of animals that were rescued. We are very lucky to have her applying her caring and managing role within Belimanister on our behalf.

Every day amongst many of her tasks she checks in on every single dog and kennel to make sure all is ok. This includes if a dog looks poorly, off there food she lets Miro know and he comes and checks/treats that dog.

If Kennels are not the best they should be, cleaned, bowls sparkling with fresh water and food for all the dogs in that kennel Melissa gets on the case and Miro then gets the techs to go in and fix to the best standard it can be in Belimanister shelter.

Socialising all of the dogs, working with the nervous ones, extra one to one care for the pups and vulnerable dogs to ensure they all recieve equal attention, care and human contact they need. Working on a rota basis to ensure within a week she has walked and played with every single dog at the shelter. Saturdays is an extra treat for the dogs as the volunteers come and is absolute wonderful chaos as all the dogs gt an extra walk and playtime.

Every day the lovely Melissa comes home and sends us her report and photos etc she has taken that day. If there are any problems that have no been easy to resolve we all along with Miro go into a group conversation and find a way to fix them together.

STOPPING DOGS FROM KILLING EACH OTHER

There are more dogs killed by each other than are actually euthanised at Belimanister. Thankfully because of Miro and the staffs initiatives and AAFA with our Ticket to freedom events we do tend to save the majority whose times are up or shortly will be. Obviously this will continue and is an ongoing thing that we can not allow the momentum to stop or else dogs will die. However in regards to the dogs killing other dogs this is what has been decided and permission gained

AAFA will next week be funding for an extra section in the main outside kennel block to be constructed. This will mean smaller packs of dogs in each section and with Melissa and Miro assessing characters, temprements etc this will reduce the risk of dogs killing others in the shelter. We know thsi will not guarantee all dogs will be safe, but certainly they will be safer as less dogs in each section and with that extra section the guys can plays more similar type dogs in each.

BATTLING THE FORTHCOMING -37 WINDS, RAIN AND SNOW
We have all been in discussions as a collaborative group on how we can litteraly stop the dogs freezing to death in the shelter. This has whats been agreed after meetings and gaining permission from the director.

How do you block in an outside kennels without reducing the sunlight? - Pexiglass.
Yes it is expensive but it is strong, durable and will hold back the deathly cold, because is as clear as glass will also allow the whole kennel block to continue to be bathed in sunlight which will actually heat the kennel block whilst protecting it from the extreme weather conditions that every year before has claimed so many lives :( Effectivly we are going to place a protective bubble around the kennel that will heat and protect. There will be numerous panels, each one cut specifically to size. These then can be removed one by one when spring kicks in or during sunny winter days. Fresh air will easily circulate and Stale air will leave by way of the roof. As it comes down and the panels will meet it there is space for air flow but without too much freezing air or rain coming in.

Dog houses - Long dog houses will be built with numerous sections to allow all dogs to get snug inside, will be filled with bedding and straw.

Inside heated kennels - The pups and vulnerable dogs will be moved inside and the healthy adult dogs moved outside

Garage conversion - There is a large garage at Belimanister that will be converted and windows put in etc for the problematic dogs with dog houses and sections built inside. Currently these dogs are kept in the kennels inside the shelter. This will allow Melissa to work individually with each one resolving the issues each one has.

So much is happening and being put into place, and I am sure you guys will agree this can only be a good thing.

DISLOCATED SHELTER - Work will begin in next 2 weeks createing a sanctuary that can then take on the surplus dogs from Belimanister stopping the shelter going over its quota and so reducing the risk of city hall coming in and telling staff to destroy 10- 20-30 dogs at a time.

Maybe we are biased but we believe when it comes to supporters and donators you will not find better than those who support Action Aid for Animals. Again they have proven by doing and giving what you can, no matter how large or small it really makes a difference.

On 15th October the transport van arrived at the death row shelter and 15 more lucky dogs found freedom and a new life. They escaped their cruel and merciless country and found love, kindness and lots of snuggles right here in the UK.

Every single dog has his or her own story, one thing is common with all, they have been through so very much. Abuse, fear and starvation was a common day occurrence for them in Croatia then as if life could not get much worse they are get caught and put on death row.

Each ones time is ticking away, allowed to remain alive for 60 days, after that they will face the final walk and these poor sweet dogs lives will be over. What an existence, to be born into a life of terror and cruelty for it only to end not like the fairy tales with a happy ever after, this is real life, these dogs lives if not saved will end on death row..The crime was simply being born and to be a stray in a country that simply does not care. If this were a child having to go through this there would be uproar. But these are strays with no no worth to no one, regardless that they experience fear, regardless they feel pain, regardless that they cry and whimper with loneliness and for some die from their spirit finally being broken and loose all hope, regardless all they want as any animal on this earth does is to feel safe and loved.

When our charity first entered Croatia to see how we could help, time and again doors were closed in our face. City halls were not interested in what we had to say and as for what laughingly are called public shelters the majority would not allow us entry because of the heinous acts they carry out on the innocents within, However when we knocked on Belimanisters door, a public shelter funded by city hall the same as the others. The staff welcomes us with open arms and agreed to a collaboration.

Belimanister is most certainly the diamond in the rough in Croatia. The staff led by Veterinarian Miro Prepeg were trying so hard despite limited resources to find homes, to sterilise to do what they can for the dogs in hopes that maybe, just maybe a few more could be saved rather than being ordered killed by city hall. They welcomed local volunteers who are a rarity in Croatia because unlike the UK and other countries, in Croatia dogs, cats, animals in general are deemed vermin. Something to do with what you want, most certainly not to care for in any way. In this country if you volunteer your time to help animals you are classed among your peers as worthless, someone who can not find anything better to do in life, someone who no one else wants. In the UK we know this to be the opposite, to volunteer, to help, to give your time is a selfless and incredible act.

Together AAFA, Belimanister staff and volunteers have saved hundreds and hundreds of lives.This week we can proudly add another 15 to those figures . Among the 15 are two amazing dogs we would like to tell you a little more about, two dogs that you, our charities supporters and donators whose lives you truly saved.

Virgina - A sweet little girl when arriving at Belimanister could be clearly seen to have been the target of abusers. Scars on her legs and all over her body and her ribs protruding told a tale of a little girl who had only ever known the worst cruelty and starvation.

She was so terrified of everything that she would try to make herself as small as she could in a corner or hide under the nearest object.

With dogs like Virgina it is so hard to find fosters or adopters willing to take them in. The dogs true character hidden deep inside as too scared to trust anyone to show it, too scared to even come and take food from a bowl if anyone is looking, too scared to even come for fuss from a human hand.
However Melissa Benak who attends the shelter every single day , all day, 6 days a week on our behalf works with such dogs. Slowly earning their trust, day by day encouraging that dogs true character to shine through, Each hour showing them that the world is not always such a terrifying place and that not all humans want to hurt them.

The video below is Virgina yesterday after she arrived in her foster home. Along with 14 others who boarded the transport funded by our supporters via the Ticket to Freedom events we organise. With your support and donations this wonderful girl has learnt to trust and is now ready to find her Happy Ever After, just like all little girls should be able to.

Rachel - A sweet little Dachshund cross who arrived on death row barely able to move, so weak and poorly from her time on the streets that no one thought she would make it, but we never gave up hope.

This poor little dog was so poorly, unable to eat, to stand, to drink and her body temperature dangerously low. All we could do was throw everything we could at her, love, care, specialised nutrition, regular vet care and pray.

A volunteer at Belimanister offered to foster and watch over her as we all knew if she remained in the shelter she stood no chance of survival. So she was taken to Ivana's home where she was hand fed every few hours, kept warm and given as much love as possible.

AAFA supplied the money for her easily digestible food that is filled with vitamins and nutrients, even supplied the special blanket to keep her warm, Ivana supplied the love and care, Miro our vet in Belimanister supplied all the medical treatments that she would need. As can be seen below in the video, she was a very poorly little girl.

Sh survived the first week, then the next, then the one after that. Every day becoming stronger until Miro confirmed she was clear and 100% on the mend.

Once she was fit and healthy she was moved into foster of Katarina, our other vet in Belimanister who has a small sanctuary and Rachel spent her last few weeks in Croatia playing with her new friends including a rescued goat and a sweet young rescued deer.

Rachel boarded the transport this week and along with Virgina and 13 others thanks to our supporters and donators, she is now safe and snug in the UK. In fact, Rachel found her forever home before she left Croatia and as you can see from the photo below she is having that deep sleep that all rescue dogs have when they first reach safety. That special long sleep where they know that they are loved , where know they are safe, that special long deep sleep when they know that they are finally home.

You are all used to articles and updates we post about Belimanister and the amazing work that is being done there to bring about change. Much of this is initiated by Miro the wonderful head vet there.

However it is not just in the shelter he is working so hard to bring about change to how strays and animals in general are treated, but as you can see here. Occasionally he gets out of the clinic and shelter and is an educator to the next generation of Croatian vets. Miro takes along his own rescue dog Kira who he saved from a life of fighting in Croatia, what better example to use than his lovely dog.

In Croatia as we all know the level of abuse and cruelty is horrendous, much of this is down to attitudes among the general public. Many veterinarians still have a very clinical attitude when it comes to veterinary care and the handling of animals, lacking the sympathy and understanding that vets such as Miro have. This stems from old school teachings from old school professors. However times are slowly changing and universities are requesting the help of Vets just like Miro to teach their students.

By Miro educating the next generation of Croatian vets and teaching them as well as being clinical they must be sympathetic to each animal as well, this can only be a good thing for these young vets future patients and in turn, they will be projecting the right message to their future clients about animal welfare.

Last week, 23 October 2015, a workshop was held for students of veterinary direction of approach to animals and dealing with dangerous dogs. The lecturer was a doctor of veterinary medicine Miroslav Prebeg of Veterinary station Beli Manastir and was attended by students of the 2nd and 4th VT grade. Students had the opportunity to hear the access animals with special emphasis on access to dangerous dogs, and they were introduced to the Law on Veterinary Medicine, Animal Protection Act and the Regulations on dangerous dogs. The lecture was also a special guest, bitch Kira, and students have a practical example to introduce access to animals. The workshop was organized by Verena Rennich. The cruelty continues in Croatia but our guys are there helping one animal at a time

This young dog is called Alex. Only 11 months of age and he has been through so very much.

Yesterday our guys in Belimanister rescued this poor boy from the side of the highway, another hit and run victim. Just something for the abusers to aim at when they are driving along the road.

When Dr M ( Miro our wonderful vet in Belimanister) began to examine him the absolute horror of his life become apparent.

The deep infected gash under his neck was from a thick leather strap that would have been put on him when only a small puppy. Left there to cut into his flesh, to fester untreated.

If he had dared to try and tell his master how much pain he was in, what was wrong with him, he would have been beaten down, so Alex would have suffered in agony for months and months. Whilst he was tied up his owner would take pot shots at him with an air rifle, one such pellet was found in his scrotum. How could Alex get away, he was only a small pup, forced to endure being tortured

As Alex grew thankfully the leather broke and he was able to escape. However this is Croatia, nothing is that simple and no happy endings for the majority of animals happen here. As Alex ran, terrified of what he was running from and not knowing the world around him as had been tied up since a small pup, he was mowed down by a car and left for dead by the side of the road in freezing and icy cold tarmac.

Belimanister guys were called and unlike many in Croatia or in fact most countries in Europe, Miro and his team refused to give up on him, yes the the shelter is full and would have been easier to pts. But no, not these guys, they set to work, to do what they could and saved this poor boy.

Miro and the amazing Belimanister guys have done there bit, he will make a full recovery .

Such a gentle sweet boy who has gone through hell and back now.....we need to do our part and find him a safe loving home where he will NEVER know torture or mans cruelty again

Alex is now recovering well, because of the extent of his injuries we have decided to send Alex to the dislocated shelter that we support as he can receive more one to one care and less risk of infection there than in the main shelter with the other death row dogs.

Normally it is individual dogs that are found and rescued, but this week seems to have been family week. 3 very brave Mums trying to survive in a country that simply does not care.

Yesterday a small skeletal female was rescued along with her 5 Croatian Shepherd Pups from a freezing cold derelict building.

The family is now safe in foster after Miro checking them over and making sure they were all ok.

We will keep you updated of their progress and will reporting on all the pups and their mums as time goes on, and we hope that you will help us to ensure they have a wonderful future.

600 Hungry starving dogs trying to survive in Romania. This is just far too big for one rescue to handle so we have joined up with the wonderful Snoopy Rescue UK and slowly but surely we are bringing about changes for the better.

AS well as vet care being paid for, aid being collected and delivered, Today, 1 Ton of food arrived and we will continue this until the shelter is on its feet and able to sustain itself

This is Rose, a very special case. We do not know what her story is, but we do know it is full of cruelty, abuse and just absolute horror. We know this because if any human gets within a few feet of her she screams in terror expecting the very worst

This poor poor girl is an old lady, 10 - 14 years of age, has demodex and needs so much love it is heartbreaking.

No animal should scream in terror , what evil has she been subjected to, to break an animals soul this way, to expect pain, agony and torture before you even go near her . We can only guess at what sub - humans have done to her.

She is safe now, will be treated for her demodex and anything else, will be fed meat and good quality food to build her strength.

Rose is the type of dog you just know will take years to get her to the point where you can find an adopter for her. But Rose is an old lady, her body battered, tortured, humiliated, degraded by humans...She doesnt have years to wait. We know dogs like Rose, I personally have one called Tanya who was rescued from Radauti...They do come around after a few months but will only trust that family, that one home that cares for them. The home, garden etc is there safety bubble that they do not want to leave as the outside world they already know is just too terrifying and horrible to them

But you know what that is Ok...We have that bubble waiting for Rose, she will never EVER know abuse and torture again, she will only know love, patience and understanding. Soft cushions, hr own doggy cave ( a crate with door , cushion and blanket inside, the door taken off and covered in a sheet) for when she wants to study the world from her safety zone or just needs time away from everything.

She will never be listed for adoption, she will stay only within her bubble, her long term foster home...Never again will this old lady need to be scared, because we are right here ready to take her under our wing and for her to spend whatever time she has left in a family home that will love her xx

This poor old lady deserves that, and we will make sure she gets it

Yesterday lunch time a lovely supporter of Action Aid for Animals Shaz Chillery Pmd Kendra to let her know of the Emergency appeal put out by K9 Angels.

Victoria Eiserman has rescued two pups from the railway line on route to her catching her flight back to the UK and despite call outs for help no one had yet responded.

When Kendra received the call out for help, knowing that two pups would have no where to go and a third dog, a husky was seen in Bucharest train station that also needed help AAFA did what it does best.

We called on our network of amazing rescuers in Romania , one who we always can count on the incredible Alina Stan answered our call to assist and she sprang into action as she always does when an animal is need. She was not interested in AAFA telling her costs will be covered by us if she helps, her only concern was to get those pups and the dog to safety.

Alina within minutes called upon her foster network and had arranged for foster with the lovely Ionut for the Husky and a pension for the pups. But who would go and collect these pups from Victoria? To fetch that Husky and take to safety? Well we did not have to wait long, the amazing Ionut stepped forward again and braced himself in readiness to face the freezing temperatures , jump in his car and go to collect the pups and the husky like a knight in shining Armour that he is.

So within 46 mins of K9 Angels putting out the distress call, Action Aid for Animals had tagged and Pm'd all of our contacts in that region. The fabulous Alina Stan took up the gauntlet and not only found pension for the pups but also foster for the husky. In turn the foster then offered to also be the transport who would collect the pups and the husky and drive them to safety.

After Ionut was driving away form the station with his car safely transporting the pups and Hiusky, Vicky then pmd Alina asking for him to turn around as she had just taken a pup from a drunk man.

Quickly hie turned around and it is with great pleasure we can say all 4 dogs are snug, warm, cared for and safe thanks to Rescues and Rescuers from different countries collaborating to save the lives of innocents.

Now I know none of these people did this for the thanks, but....We believe that considering the trouble, time and energy that everyone involved put into this...It is only the right thing to do is to say thank you, and give recognition to those who would step in and do the right thing when help is asked of them.

I know some charities/rescues would take all the glory themselves, but Action Aid for Animals is not one of those charities . We firmly believe only by recognising and giving the thanks and respect to those that truly deserve it is the right thing to do and how to behave.

Alina Stan and Ionut you are the true heroes , you were the knight and princess in shining armor on the ground that truly made this happen. Without you, these pups and the husky would have had nowhere to go.

I am sure K9 Angels will join AAFA in thanking you both and allocating the praise to the right people who truly saved these dogs lives.

As Victoria was thanking Kendra yesterday, she said
" No Man is an Island, and there is no "I" in team".

We could not agree more Victoria, glad K9 Angels believe in this also!! What an awful terrible world this would be if Rescues did not apply this in their ethos...

In the county of Medimurje , Croatia evidence has come to light of the most heinous acts of animal cruelty being carried out by the Roma community who inhabit 12 villages within this region.

Some examples are:

Illegal dog fighting is a daily occurrence - The authorities and Police do nothing

Puppies and dogs being barbarically hit across heads with bricks/shovels by gypsy children and left to die - The authorities and Police do nothing

Animals tied with rope and dragged behind bikes and cars for entertainment - The authorities and Police do nothing

Animals regularly hung from trees and fences, laughed at as they writhe around terrified and dying - The authorities and Police do nothing

Regular rapeing of animals is deemed normal behavior among the community, puppies daily are raped by children and young teens, larger and older dogs tied down and raped by adults - The authorities and Police do nothing

Carcasses of animals with their genitalia sliced off, throats sliced open can be seen laying around the villages like refuse - The authorities and Police do nothing

Animals legs tied with rope and strong, then attachd to bikes and cars dragged along in races - The authorities and Police do nothing

The local authorities and police despite being presented with evidence and witnesses to these crimes even being told when dog fights etc are going to take place they refuse to act , choosing to turn a cowardly blind eye under the guise of “political correctness” Why do they refuse to act?

Why do they not arrest those blatantly breeching Croatian animal welfare laws?

Because they do not want to offend the abusers of these animals, the Roma community who are 70% strong in these villages, that is why!

However, what is interesting in all this is the fact that

The Croatian government receives funds every single year from the European Union pot (that we all pay into) in grants to help such minority groups.
The main Croatian government itself sends directly funds to the main cityhall that oversees Medimurje county to humanely deal with the stray problem .

So this is two massive amounts of money being directed to Medimurje county and yet

The Roma community live in absolute squalor, no community or education programs in place and ..
The stray numbers are out of control and being left to multiply every month. Creating more victims for the Roma community within these villages to abuse, torture and rape.

When local animal welfare groups ask for support/funds from cityhall to deal with the stray problem within the Roma community and to set up education and community programs within the villages the door is shut in their faces with the excuse that no money is available!

This is NOT acceptable, Medimurje county has more than enough money to educate and support the Roma community from EU grants it receives., It has more than enough money it collects from the public, its own tax paying citizens to specifically deal with the stray population.

What is the real reason Chief Mayor Matija Posavec and his underlings refuse to adhere by Croatia's own animal welfare laws?

Where is the money he and his underlings receive via taxes and Eu Grants to deal with both these issues?

For ANY member state to be accepted and remain part of the European Union, to access the grants and funds available it has to, and must continue to show that as a country and within its townships that public money is handled responsibly. This includes public servants actually doing the job they are supposed to do paid their own citizens to do. Medimurje county and the 12 villages within it have breached the EU agreement alone with their police failing to carry out its duties and enforcing its countries laws which its own people put into place, this includes Animal Welfare laws.

We the undersigned demand that Chief Mayor Matija Posavec does

To immediately stop the abuse and torture of animals within its villages by actually arresting, charging the criminals and removing the abused animals.
To stop immediately dog fights and to arrest, charge the organisers/spectators to seize the animals used as bait and for fighting and work with local NGO's to rehabilitate and provide veterinary care
Order an investigation into the 12 regions under his authority and city hall officials that have deliberately disobeyed Croatian laws and failed the people they were voted in to serve.
To investigate all claims of animal cruelty and order his police force to make arrests and charge appropriately the abusers. (If the police refuse to go into these villages then send the army)
To collaborate , support and fund local non profit groups to benefit the animals and also the gypsy community
To collaborate with outside agencies such as the UK charity Action Aid for Animals who are ready, willing and able to coordinate and organise sterilisation , chipping and vaccination programs along with local NGOs and rescuers and implement education programs and community initiatives for the gypsy children and youth.
To fund and build a rescue shelter specifically for the animals within the 12 villages and to allow local NGOs to manage this with on going funding and support from local cityhalls.

CONTACT YOUR OWN MEP BY CLICKING HERE , Mention the animal abuse and lack of action by the Mayor Matija Posavec of Medimurje county But focus on the possible misappropriation of public funds and wrongful spending of EU grants. The EU can not interefere on animal welfare of strays however, it can investigate and act against an member state if they are not spending/managing public funds of its citizens correctly or not spending grants from the EU on what it should.

Dans la Croatie, région de Medimujie, des preuves ont été mises à jour des actes odieux de cruauté envers les animaux, commises par les membres de la communauté Roma dans les 12 villages dans cette région.

Voici des exemples de ces actes:

· Des combats de chiens illégaux quotidiens – les autorités et la police n’en font rien pour les mettre à terme

· Les chiots et les chiens sont battus avec des coups de pelle et de briques par les enfants, et sont laisses pour mort – les autorités et la police n’en font rien

· Les animaux sont lies à cordes et traines derrière des voitures et des motos - les autorités et la police n’en font rien

· Les animaux sont souvent pendus des arbres et des barrières, et ils en meurent, en se tordant, terrifies- les autorités et la police n’en font rien

· Le viol des animaux est considéré comme un acte banal, avec les chiots violes par les enfants et les ados, les chiens adultes lies et violes par les adultes - les autorités et la police n’en font rien

· Les cadavres d’animaux égorgés avec leur génitales arraches, gisent par terre - les autorités et la police n’en font rien

· Les jambes lies, les animaux sont trainés derrière les voitures et les motos en course- les autorités et la police n’en font rien

Même quand ils ont vus et été témoin a ces crimes, même quand ils sont au courant de tous ces évènements, la police et les autorités refusent d’agir – ils ferment les yeux, en guise de rectitude politique. Pourquoi refusent-t-ils de réagir ?

Pourquoi n’arrêtent-t-ils pas ceux qui violent en manière flagrants les lois pour la défense des animaux en Croatie ?

Parce ce qu’ils ne souhaitent pas offenser ceux qui maltraitent les animaux, les Roma qui représentent 70% de la population de ces villages !

Néanmoins, il est intéressant que:

· Le gouvernement Croate est destinataire de billions d’euros chaque année, de l’union Européenne, qui est destiné à aider les groupes minoritaires.

· Le conseil municipal de Medimurje reçoit des millions d’euros du gouvernement, pour gérer, de façon humanitaire, le problème des animaux errants.

Donc, deux sommes énormes sont dédiés à Medimurje, et pourtant :

· La communauté Roma vie dans un état de misère absolue, avec aucun programme de soutien, ni d’éducation

· Le nombre d’animaux errants sont hors contrôle, et ils multiplient tous les mois. Donc, plus de victimes pour les maltraiter.

Les groups pour la défense des animaux ont demandées à la mairie de gérer le problème, et de mettre en place des programmes éducatifs dans ces villages, et ils se sont butés à une porte fermée, et la déclaration qu’il n’y a pas d’argent!

Ceci est inacceptable. Medimurje détient amplement d’argent dans les fonds qu’il reçoit de l’UE pour éduquer et soutenir la communauté Roma. Il reçoit amplement d’argent des impôts, de ses propres citoyens, pour gérer le problème des animaux errants.

Quelle est la vraie raison pour laquelle le maire, Matija Posavec, et ses subordonnes refusent d’adhérer aux lois pour la défense des animaux de Croatie ?

Où est l’argent qu’ils reçoivent, lui est ses subordonnes, des impôts et des fonds UE qui sont destinés à régler ce problème ?

Pour que n’importe quel état membre de l’UE demeure membre de l’UE, pour qu’il accède aux fonds et aux subventions de l’UE, il est nécessaire qu’il montre que, dans le pays en générale, et dans les communes, l’argent publique est manie de manière responsable. Que les fonctionnaires font le travail qu’ils sont payes pour faire. Les autorités de Medimurje et ses 12 villages ont enfreint les accords de l’UE quand les forces de l’ordre n’assurent pas leur mission d’appliquer les lois du pays, mises en place par le peuple du pays même, y compris les exigences en matière de bien-être des animaux conformément au droit communautaire.

Nous soussignés demandent que le maire Matija Posavec :

1. Qu’il arrête et mettes en détention les maltraiteurs d’animaux, et qu’il enlève les animaux, tout de suite.

2. Qu’il arrête les combats de chien illégaux et arrêtes et mettes en détention les organisateurs et ceux qui assistent à ces combats, et de s’emparer des animaux appâts, et qu’il travaille avec les ONG pour réhabiliter et soigner ces animaux.

3. Qu’il ordonne une enquête sur les 12 communes et les conseillers municipales que ont délibérément bafoues les lois Croates et a laissé tomber leurs propres électeurs

4. Qu’il enquête sur toutes les plaintes de cruauté envers les animaux, et qu’il ordonnes a ses forces de l’ordre d’arrêter et d’inculper les agresseurs. Si la police refuse d’entrer dans ses villages, qu’il envoie l’armée.

5. Qu’il collabore, qu’il soutien, et qu’il donne des fonds aux groupes locaux sans but lucratif, pour bénéficier a la communauté Roma.

6. Qu’il collabore avec des agences tel que l’association RU Action Aid for Animals, qui sont prêts, disposes et capables de coordonner et organiser des programmes de stérilisation, la mise en place des puces d’identité, et de la vaccination, avec les GNO sur place, et de mettre en œuvre des programmes d’éducation pour les enfants et les ados des Roma.

7. Qu’il finance et fait construire un refuge pour les animaux des 12 communes et qu’il donne la permission aux ONG sur place de gérer ce refuge avec le soutien et la finance continu des mairies.

UZBUNA – Europa uzdrmana zbog zlostavljanja, mučenja i silovanja tisuća životinja u Međimurju (Hrvatska) – molimo Vas za pomoć

U Međimurju u Hrvatskoj pojavili su se dokazi o gnjusnoj okrutnosti prema životinjama od strane romske zajednice koja živi u 12 naselja u toj regiji.

Neki primjeri su:

- Svakodnevne nelegalne borbe pasa – nadležne službe i policija ništa ne čine po tom pitanju

- Štenci i odrasli psi koje romska djeca ciglama i lopatama tuku po glavi i ostavljaju ih da ugibaju – nadležne službe i policija ne čine ništa

- Životinje koje vuku biciklima i autima zbog zabave – nadležne službe i policija ne čine ništa

- Životinje koje vise s drveća i ograda, a kojima se smiju dok se one grče i ugibaju u mukama - nadležne službe i policija ne čine ništa

- Seksualno zlostavljanje smatra se normalnim ponašanjem u zajednici, štence siluju djeca i mlađi tinejdžeri, a veće i odrasle pse svežu i siluju odrasli - nadležne službe i policija ne čine ništa

- Leševi životinja s odrezanim genitalijama i prerezanim grkljanima leže naokolo po naseljima kao smeće - nadležne službe i policija ne čine ništa

- Noge životinja zavezane užadi i pričvršćene na motore i aute da bi se zatim utrkivalo - nadležne službe i policija ne čine ništa

Novinari su nedavno posjetili ta sela i sami svjedočili stravičnoj situaciji. Klikniteovdje da pogledate prilog (upozorenje – uznemirujuć sadržaj)

Unatoč tome što imaju dokaze i svjedoke ovih zločina, nadležne službe i policija ne žele reagirati čak i u slučajevima kada znaju vrijeme u koje će se borbe pasa odviti, kukavički odbijaju reagirati i prave se da se ništa ne događa jer je riječ o nacionalnoj manjini. Zašto odbijaju regirati?

Zašto ne uhite osobe koje drsko krše hrvatske zakone o zaštiti životinje?

Zato što ne žele uvrijediti zlostavače ovih životinja, Rome, koji čine veliku većinu stanovništva u ovim selima (70%)!

No, u ovome svemu zanimljivo je upravo to što

hrvatska Vlada svake godine dobiva sredstva iz fonda Europske Unije (svi mi to plaćamo) za pomoć manjinskom stanovništvu
hrvatska Vlada šalje sredstva izravno u Međimurje za sanaciju problema

Dakle, riječ je o jako velikim iznosima koji su dodijeljeni Međimurskoj županiji a ipak

Romi žive u velikoj bijedi, bez organiziranih obrazovnih programa i
Broj pasa lutalica izvan svake je kontrole i svaki mjesec sve više raste. Tako se stvara sve veći broj pasa u Romskoj zajednici koje su potencijalne žrtve iživljavanja i zlostavljanja.

Kada lokalne udruge traže sredstva za organizaciju obrazovanja i riješavanje problema pasa lutalica odbijeni su uz ispriku da nema novca!

To je neprihvatljivo, Međimurska županija ima dovljno novaca koje dobiva iz Europskih fondova. Imaju više nego dovoljno novca da se pozabave tom tematikom, a i sami građani kroz poreze plaćaju dio za riješavanje ovog problema.

Koji je pravi razlog zašto se gradonačelnik Matija Posavec i njegovi pomoćnici odbijaju pridržavati hrvatskih zakona o pravima životinja.

Gdje je novac koji on i njegovi pomoćnici primaju od poreza i iz fondova EU za oba problema.

Da bi zemlja članica bila prihvaćena i ostala djelom EU, te kako bi imala pristup fondovima i novcu, mora pokazati da se kao država ponaša odgovorno.

To uključuje javne službenike koji rade posao za koji su plaćeni od svojih građana.

Međimurska županija i pripadajućih 12 sela prekršile su EU sporazume, kao i policija koja nije ispunila svoju dužnost provođenja državnih zakona koje su njihovi gradani izglasali a koji uključuju i zakone o pravima životinja.

Miupotpisuovogtekstazahtijevamood gradonačelnika Matije Posavca da:

1. Odmah zaustavi zlostavljanje i mučenje životinja unutar sela, privođenjem, dizanjem optužnica protiv kriminalaca i uklanjanjem mučenih životinja.

2. Odmah zaustavi borbe pasa i da uhiti, podigne optužnice protiv organizatora/gledatelja, i da zaplijeni životinje koje se koriste kao mamci i za borbe, te da u suradnji s lokalnim nevladinim udrugama rehabilitiraju zlostavljane životinje

3. Naredi istragu o 12 regija pod svojom vlašću i istragu o svojim službenicima koji su namjerno zanemarili hrvatske zakone i iznevjerili ljude koji su ih postavili na vlast

4. Da istraži sve navode o okrutnosti prema životinjama i da naredi policiji da uhiti i podigne optužnice protiv zlostavljača. (Ako policija odbije ući u ta sela, neka pošalje vojsku)

5. Da surađuje, podržava i financira lokalne neprofitne organizacije u korist životinja i romske zajednice

6. Da surađuje sa stranim agencijama kao sto su UK Charity Action Aid for Animals koji su spremni i voljni koordinirati i organizirati sterilizaciju, čipiranje i cijepljenje u suradnji s lokalnim nevladinim udrugama i spasiteljima, te implementirati programe edukacije za romske zajednice i mladež

7. Da financira i izgradi skloništa za životinje iz 12 sela te da dozvoli lokalnim nevladinim udrugama da njima upravljaju uz kontinuirano financiranje i podršku lokalnih vlasti

En el condado de Medimurje (Croacia) ha salido a la luz evidencia de los actos más atroces de crueldad hacia los animales que se llevan a cabo por la comunidad gitana que habitan 12 pueblos dentro de esta región.

Algunos ejemplos son:

*Las peleas de perros ilegal es un hecho cotidiano - Las autoridades y la Policía no hacen nada
*Las cabezas de cachorros y perros golpeadas salvajemente con ladrillos / palas por los niños gitanos hasta dejarlos morir - Las autoridades y la Policía no hacen nada
*Animales atados con cuerda y arrastrado detrás de motos y coches para el entretenimiento - Las autoridades y la Policía no hacen nada
*Animales colgados regularmente de árboles y cercas, riéndose de ver como se retuercen aterrorizados hasta morir - Las autoridades y la Policía no hacen nada
*La violación regular de los animales se considera un comportamiento normal entre la comunidad, los cachorros diariamente son violados por los niños y los adolescentes, los perros viejos y más grandes atados y violados por los adultos - Las autoridades y la Policía no hacen nada
*Los cadáveres de los animales con sus genitales cortados, gargantas rebanadas abiertas se pueden ver por zona que habitan como desperdicios - Las autoridades y la Policía no hacen nada
*Las piernas de los animales atadas a motos y autos para ser arrastrados en las carreras - Las autoridades y la Policía no hacen nada

EL noticiero recientemente visitó uno de estos pueblos y el reportero fue testigo del horror de la situación. Hagaclic aquí para ver el informe (Advertencia material gráfico y perturbador)

Las autoridades locales y la policía a pesar de tener pruebas y testigos de estos crímenes, notificados cuando hay peleas de perros, etc se llevan a cabo, se niegan a actuar, la elección de hacer la vista gorda cobarde con el pretexto de la "corrección política"¿Por qué se rehúsan a actuar?

¿Por qué no los arrestan?
Debido a que no quieren ofender a los abusadores de estos animales, la comunidad gitana que son el 70% mayoría en estos pueblos, ¡ese es el por qué!

Sin embargo, lo interesante de todo esto es el hecho de que
*El Gobierno croata recibe fondos de todos los años de la olla de la Unión Europea (que todos pagamos) en subsidios para ayudar a estos grupos minoritarios.
*El principal gobierno croata sí envía directamente fondos al municipio principal que supervisa el condado de Medimurje para tratar humanamente con el problema.

Entonces, estas dos enormes fuentes de dinero son enviadas al condado de Medimurje y sin embargo,
La comunidad gitana viven en la miseria absoluta, no hay programas de la comunidad o de la educación en el lugar y ..
Los números están fuera de control y se multiplican cada mes. Creando más víctimas para la comunidad gitana dentro de estos pueblos (abuso, tortura y violación).

Cuando los grupos de bienestar animal locales piden apoyo / fondos al municipio para lidiar con el problema de la comunidad giatana y para la creación de programas de educación dentro de las aldeas, se cierra la puerta en las narices de uno con la excusa de que no hay dinero está disponible!

Esto no es aceptable, el condado de Medimurje tiene más que suficiente dinero para educar y apoyar a la comunidad gitana de subvenciones de la UE que recibe., Tiene más que suficiente dinero que recauda por parte del público, el propio impuesto pagado por los ciudadanos para ocuparse específicamente de la población callejera.

¿Cuál es la verdadera razón por la que Matija Posavec y sus subordinados se niegan a adherirse por las propias leyes de bienestar animal de Croacia?
¿Dónde está el dinero que él y sus subordinados reciben a través de los impuestos y de la UE subvenciones para hacer frente a estas dos cuestiones?

Para cualquier Estado miembro acptado y siendo parte de la Unión Europea, para acceder a las subvenciones y los fondos disponibles, deben demostrar como país y dentro de sus municipios que el dinero público se manipula de forma responsable. Esto incluye a los servidores públicos haciendo el trabajo por el que supuestamente se les paga. El Condado Medimurje y los 12 pueblos dentro de el han violado el acuerdo de la UE, la policía no lleva a cabo sus funciones y no hacen cumplir las leyes, lo que incluye las leyes de bienestar animal.

Nosotros, los abajo firmantes de la demanda que Matija Posavec hace:
1_ Para detener inmediatamente el abuso y la tortura de los animales dentro de sus aldeas arrestando y acusando a los criminales.
2_ Para detener inmediatamente las peleas de perros y de arrestar, acusar a los organizadores / espectadores para apoderarse de los animales utilizados como cebo y para la lucha y el trabajo con las ONG locales para rehabilitar y brindar atención veterinaria
3_ pedir una investigación sobre las 12 regiones bajo su autoridad y de los funcionarios que han desobedecido deliberadamente las leyes croatas fallándole a las personas que los votaron.
4_ Para investigar todas los reportes de crueldad hacia los animales y que se ordene a la policía para realizar detenciones adecuadas a los abusadores. (Si la policía se niega a ir a estos pueblos entonces, enviar al ejército)
5_ Colaborar, apoyar y financiar grupos sin fines de lucro locales para beneficiar a los animales y también a la comunidad gitana
6_ Colaborar con organismos externos, como la caridad Action Aid fo Animals del Reino Unido que están listos, dispuestos y capaces de coordinar y organizar la esterilización, astillado y la vacunación programas junto con las ONG y los equipos de rescate locales y poner en práctica programas de educación y las iniciativas de la comunidad para los niños gitanos y juventud.
7_ Para financiar y construir un refugio de rescate específicamente para los animales dentro de las 12 aldeas y permitir que las organizaciones no gubernamentales locales gestionar esto con la financiación y el apoyo de municipios locales.

TRES SENCILLOS PASOS PARA TI para ayudar a detener la crueldad, el abuso y VIOLACIóN DE MILES DE ANIMALES

2. DIRECTAMENTE correo electrónico o mensajes a todos los interesados ??por favor ver la lista de contactos de abajo-Tel; l cada una del por qué está disgustado, decepcionado, consternado etc en lo que se está permitiendo pasar y decirles de manera constructiva lo que le gustaría que hagan sobre la situación.

CONTACTAR CON SU PROPIO eurodiputado haciendo clic aquí, Mención del maltrato animal y la falta de acción por parte del alcalde Matija Posavec del condado de Medimurje Pero centrarse en la posible malversación de fondos públicos y el gasto indebido de subvenciones de la UE. La UE no puede intereferir sobre el bienestar animal de perros callejeros sin embargo, puede investigar y actuar contra un Estado miembro si no están gastando / gestión de los fondos públicos de los ciudadanos correctamente o no gastar subvenciones de la UE en lo que debería.

ALERTA ROSIE. Europa SCANDALIZATA de abuzarea, torturarea si violarea a mii de animale ÎN JUDETUL Medimurje, Croatia

In tinutul Medimurje , Croatia, s-au gasit dovezi de acte atroce de cruzime împotriva animalelor, efectuate de comunitatea de rromi care locuiesc în 12 sate din aceasta regiune.

Câteva exemple sunt:
*lupte ilegale de câini, zilnice - actiuni neamendate, ignorate de autoritati si politie
*câini si catei loviti în mod barbar în cap de copiii tiganilor, cu caramizi sau lopeti si lasati sa moara - actiuni neamendate, ignorate de autoritati si politie
*animale legate si târâte dupa masini sau biciclete, pentru divertisment - actiuni neamendate, ignorate de autoritati si politie
*animale spânzurate de copaci sau garduri, batjocorite actiuni neamendate, ignorate de autoritati si politie
*violul animalelor e vazut ca un comportament normal in comunintate - actiuni neamendate, ignorate de autoritati si politie
*cadavre de animale mutilate, aruncate prin sate, câini cu organele genitale taiate sau cu gâtul sfârtecat - actiuni neamendate, ignorate de autoritati si politie
O echipa de stiristi a vizitat de curând aceste sate si reporterul a oferit marturie la ororile situatiei. Apasati aici pentru a vedea reportajul (cu precizarea ca e avertisment de material grafic si tulburator)

Autoritatile locale si politia, desi au fost notificate si au primit dovezi si marturi ale acestor crime, precum si locatii unde ar putea surprinde lupte de câini, au refuzat sa actioneze, invocând motive gen corectitudine politica. De ce?

De ce nu aresteaza pe cei ce încalca legile de bunastare a animalelor?
Pentru ca nu doresc sa jigneasca pe acesti barbari, de etnie rroma, adica 70% din populatia acestor sate.

Totusi ceea ce este interesant este ca guvernul croat e finantat in fiecare an de catre Uniunea Europeana (adica de noi toti) pentru a sprijini aceste minoritati.
Astfel, guvernul croat trimite fonduri primariei de care apartine regiunea Medimurje pentru a se oucpa in mod uman de problema vagabondajului.

Deci, desi doua surse financiare sunt directionate catre regiunea Medimurje totusi comunitatea rroma traieste în mizerie absoluta, fara programe comunitare si educationale în vigoare si ..
numarul animalelor fara stapân este scapat de sub control, se inmultesc pe masura ce trece timpul, creând mai multe victime pentru tiganii romi sa abuzeze, tortureze si violeze.

Când grupurile de binefacere a nimalelor locale cer ajutor/fonduri de la primarie pentru a rezolva problema vagabondajului in comunitatea rroma si pentru a porni programe de educare a acestor în sate, le se refuza constant, din lipsa de fonduri.
.. ceea ce NU este acceptabil, Medimurje detine mai mult decât suficiente fonduri pentru a educa si sustine comunitatea rroma de la Uniunea Europeana... are bani adunati de la public, de la taxele platite de contribuabili

De ce primarul Matija Posavec si subalternii sai refuza sa adere la legile de protectia animalelor, legi in vigoare in tara lor, Croatia?
Unde sunt fondurile pe care acestia le primesc de la UE si contribuabili?

Pentru ca ORICARE stat membru sa fie aceptat si pastrat in UE, pentru a accesa fondurile europene, este nevoie ca sa continuie sa arate, ca la nivel de tara banii publici sunt folositi responsabil. Aici sunt inlusi si angajatii publici care ar trebui sa isi faca meseria. Judetul Medimurje si cele 12 sate încalca acordul UE, iar politia ca nu a îndeplinit sarcinile sale, aplicarea legilor tarii sale, aceasta include legile bunastarea animalelor.

Noi subsemnatii pretindem ca primarul Matija Posavec sa
*opreasca imediat abuzul si tortura acestor animale si a aresta, acuza si pedepsi criminalii raspunzatori
*opreasca imediat luptele de câini si sa aresteze, acuze, organizatorii si spectatorii, amatorii de asa ceva, sa confiste animalele si sa colaboreze cu asociatiile locale de protectia animalelor si veterinari
*investigheze in cele 12 regiuni unde csub autoritatea primariei nu s-a tinut cont, intentionat adica, de legile croate in vigoare
*colaboreze, sustina si finanteze gruparile non profit locale, grupari pentru drepturile animalelor dar si ale comunitatii rrome
*finanteze sau construiasca un adapost special pentru animalele din cele 12 sate si sa permita ca asociatiile locale de protectia animalelor sa le gestioneze, cu sprijin din partea primariei.

Te rugam lasa comnetarii politicoase primarului si subordonatilor sai pentru ca injurii si jigniri nu contribuie cu nimic

Informeaza-i despre ceea ce se intâmpla si ceea ce nu se intâmpla în Medimurje dar pune accentul pe o posibila utilizare necorespunzatoare de fonduri europene. UE nu poate interveni pentru animale, dar pate investiga aceste fonduri cum sunt gestionate.
